Vivisection for medical research is another 'noble' cause which in reality is barbarity in the pursuit of profit. Don't take my word for it.  There is absloutely no need or justification for the Nazi like experiments which are carried out in medicine's name. If animals are so unlike humans in their ability to feel and experience pain then there seems to be little point in experimenting upon. If however, they are quite close to us not only biologically but emotionally and mentally too then it cannot be condoned even by those who support it.

At one time the black African slave trade was justified on the basis that the slaves were not fully human!
