"Very nice listen Peter as this is my first time! Good song structure and some guit playing as well!"
Mark Ellis
"Well havent heard your music before, and this is a very pleasant track, good melodic structure etc, vocs  perhaps a tad too reverby? but doesnt detract too much from what is an enjoyable track, with some nice guitar etc.
AndyF
"Hi Peter This is a soft and gentle track which you sing very well.I agree with James that it would be just as good coming from behind the reverb but I can understand the reasoning behind it. I also wondered why the vocals didn't sit centrally, interesting. Musically superb and lyrically very good. For me it has a touch of Michael Oldfield. All in all an excellent track. Well Done "
Deon
"Love the lyrics, and a simplicty thats fresh and suits the gentle vocal delivery and melody. You sure have a talent for a good tune."
Destri
"Very different, vocals are unusally panned to the left? your voice is very pleasant sounding, sounds like you have more in reserve if you know what I mean, musically sounds good too, guitar being the highlight, very interesting work, nice one..."
James Oakwood
Interesting blurb dude. It kinda represents what most of us have been thru. OK don't understand the kent references (I'm from yorks) but your vox is fine dude and I reckon you don't need to hide behind so much reverb. The song is a little overcompressed for my liking but it is sweet ... Bass is sweet - can hear some nice work here.
David Joel Carter
Oh yeah, nice guitars and a decent job with those vox, glad you stepped up to the mike! Well done ... a very good song, nice rousing outro.

Really like song, lovely guitar sound on this, voice has a touch of Carl Wilson about it, very nice. Lovely sound on track, dont like the panning on the lead vocal I'm deaf in left ear so doesn't work for me hahaha, would prefer a centre fixed vocal (just me not everyone is deaf hahaha)...  very good" :)
CarJam
I think this sails along nicely! Very nice guitar playing and the bass sounds good also. I like the song itself, ubeat and happy feeling - nice writing! :) Carol Sue

The Cliff Overlooking the Sea
Storm Horses
"Lovely melody very wistfull....and a sweet vocal to compliment it."
Paul BoonStewart
"Without trying to sound corny, the intro instantly transported me to a cliff overlooking the sea. Very easy going. I listen to a few songs while I'm working, but I had to 'down tools' and listen to this. Wonderful stuff."
Richard Ramsey - iODiNE
"Picollo? Very nice sound regardless! Like the acoustic picking...nice progression! Nice trem on the guit...Crimson and Clover! Very nice folky song Peter! Enjoyed this!"

"Beautiful track. Not my genre but I have to say I like it." Barry
Jamie
In The Cliff Overlooking the Sea, for example, do you play the guitar and flute and everything? I may have asked you this already, but that's only because it's all really good...even that..oh...it's electric guitar in the background. Nice jo

Haunting melody....and a worthy subject coming from another avid animal lover. Has got my vote ...a lovely song well done.
Dan E. Peck
I am in total agreement with anything that's against animal abuse. Anyone that knows me knows my passion for abolishing animal abuse and killing and maming those that abuse animals. Nice song.
Rosemarie
"I like the peaceful sound. Adding different sounds throughout makes it more interesting to listen to the end."
Deon
"Strong sentiment Pete, musically well delivered."
geiger167
"Very nice track musically, the guitars sound gorgeous, quite like the vocals too, sounds a bit Pink Floydish, especially the solo, which is very nice as well."
Dan Brown
Very mellow track for a real serious issue. Nice guitar picking throughout and nice production.

"The lyrics are really good dude. Well written and provocative. This has got a Strawbs vibe....the vibe also includes your vox. I like the construction and the Spanish vibe too. Neat song and cool vox melodies."

Passion and Place
Woven Wheat Whispers
"British musician Peter Bagshaw has been making music for three decades originally with the band Lakeside and since as a solo artist on a number of solo albums. We're therefore pleased to bring his latest one exclusively to the service. It has nine tracks starting with the dreamy up-tempo pop of 'Sea Saforda'. 'In Days Of The Slanted Sun' has an acoustic hazy West Coast sound reminiscent of Crosby, Stills and Nash. 'Changing The Countryside' is an evocative folk ballad with bell-lyre and keyboards that is a dead-ringer for 1970s duo Dulcimer. 'Brief Respite' has a recorder melody and pastoral folk arrangement that evokes Amazing Blondel. 'Have You Heard The Milk Herd?' is chiming up-tempo acoustic pop with processed vocals that reminds of the whimsical psychedelic pop of Robin Hitchcock and the Soft Boys 'The Hazel Tree' is a plaintive folk song with a hint of Medieval in its melody before adding electric guitar and bass that reminds of solo Syd Barrett. This sound continues with a Spanish aspect to 'Toro De La Vega'. 'Going Home' has a more Celtic quality and excellent keyboards adding a spacey atmosphere. 'The Cliff Overlooking The Sea' has a particular Englishness in the style of early Duncan Brown. So across the album there is a diverse range of styles rooted in the folk tradition but taking it in a range of complementary directions. This gives an album that evolves throughout its course yet is discernibly produced by a single artist. With many years of experience, Peter has made a melodic, rewarding album of great charm."
